Promoting Decent Work in Platform Work – ILO/IOE/WEC Discussion Forum

Just as with all new technologies that have hit the labour market, working through online platforms has grown over the last decades. With the Covid-19 pandemic amplifying the urgency, challenges, and opportunities ‘platform work’, social partners and government need to work together to ensure it contributes to Decent Work and Economic Growth in the post-Covid environment.

On 11 March 2021, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and the World Employment Confederation (WEC) will organize a Discussion Forum on Platform work.
