On behalf of the Employment and Recruitment Industry it represents, the World Employment Confederation (WEC) calls for all measures to be taken to bring back peace to the Eastern European region. We express deep concern about the situation in Ukraine and our thoughts are with all the people and families impacted by the crisis, locally, and throughout the world.

The Employment and Recruitment Industry is focusing on how it can lend its support to people, in particular those displaced by the crisis. The WEC members in the region are putting in place all necessary measures to protect permanent staff and agency workers, working in solidarity and support with relevant partners on the ground.
