On 7 April, the General Assembly of WEC members took some important decisions regarding its membership and governance. Both elements contribute to achieving WEC’s strategic goals of becoming more relevant as the leading HR Services industry authority.
Two new members join the WEC community: THRAPA (Tanzania Human Resource and Administration Professionals Association) as a National Federation Member representing Tanzania and QUESS, as a Regional Corporate Member from APAC Southern. Their membership is effective as of April 1st, 2025.
WEC members also elected a couple of new Board members, bringing some new faces and fresh energy to the organisation’s governance.
Bettina Schaller, President, World Employment Confederation: “Attracting new members from Africa and Asia-Pacific, two rapidly growing regions for the HR services industry, clearly demonstrates the relevance of our organisation. In a rapidly changing and complex world, HR services providers must rely on a network of high-quality partners and access top-tier regulatory and labour market intelligence insights to secure sustainable growth.”
Caroline Pfeiffer, Senior Vice-President, Talent Solutions: “I am honoured to be elected as Vice-President of the World Employment Confederation and to contribute to amplifying our reach and impact in the world of work. The work we do is fundamental to ManpowerGroup, as we believe that meaningful, sustainable employment has the power to change the world. By contributing to the Board’s work and supporting the management team, I look forward to driving innovative approaches that strengthen our voice, expand our influence, and enhance our ability to shape the future of employment and the private employment services industry globally.”
